At the beginning of September 2026 we had planned to release these two patches and two prints, which we were overjoyed to be able to work with 338 Mira.

Much to the dismay of all involved we were supporting the squadron in rolling out their new patches at Athens Flying Week when the tragic accident occurred which claimed the lives of Squadron Leader Ioannis Blesias and Flight Lieutenant Dimitrios Petrou. Having been with the squadron in the months leading up to the display at Tanagra, the tragedy was deeply felt and so we postponed our public release.

We’re very pleased that 338 Squadron has been so happy with these patches and prints but all of us feel the loss of the last month and we know our customers will join us in expressing our support to the Hellenic Air Force family at this difficult time.

We release these now with the full endorsement of the squadron and remain grateful for the friendships we share.
