Marking XI(F) Squadron’s vital contribution to Operation Shader, this commemorative patch is a bold tribute to the professionalism and relentless operational tempo of this historic fast jet squadron.

One of the world’s oldest, dedicated fighter units, their involvement in the Operation between April and August made a vital contribution in combating Daesh in Iraq and Eastern Syria, as part of the international coalition against terrorism.

The design features a striking Eurofighter Typhoon, the RAF’s frontline multirole combat aircraft, depicted in flight and supported by a detailed image of a Paveway IV representing the squadron’s ground-attack capability during Shader missions.
