RAF CONINGSBY AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE FLIGHT
RAF CONINGSBY AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE FLIGHT
Supporting the sharp end of RAF air power, the Aircraft Maintenance Flight at RAF Coningsby forms the backbone of the Typhoon Force.
We’re pleased to unveil this patch to celebrate RAF engineers and BAE Systems specialists who combine their expertise to keep the UK’s Eurofighter Typhoons combat-ready, 24/7.
Responsible for sustaining frontline availability in Lincolnshire, this team delivers exceptional engineering output in support of Quick Reaction Alert (QRA), operational deployments and high-profile taskings across the Typhoon enterprise.
Supporting the Typhoon Support Flight (TSF), Engineering Wing, and 71 (Inspection & Repair) Squadron, the team ensures aircraft availability for 29 Squadron (OCU), 41 Squadron (Test & Evaluation), and frontline squadrons 3 and XI.
We’re proud to celebrate the engineering which leads to operational resilience, and the unsung heroes who keep the Typhoon airborne when it matters most.
