Celebrating 110 years of service of 51 Squadron RAF.

At the heart of this patch stands the unmistakable Rivet Joint aircraft, symbolising 51 Squadron's airborne intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capability with the RC-135. Beneath it, the squadron's iconic goose mascot rises with wings spread wide - a tribute to the unit's enduring spirit, resilience and legacy stretching back to 1916.

Set against a backdrop of intricate circuit-board detailing, the design reflects the technological edge and information dominance that defines today's mission. Woven into that architecture are many of the past types to have served on 51 Squadron; with each one having built upon the capabilities of the last.
